The Youth Leaders for this event were our Junior Board and Executive Team members. We had over 60+ people helping to pack 1200+ meals! We could not have done this without your support.
Through our partnership with Food For Friends, we were able to distribute the meals we packed to Chancez NFP and House of Restoration Community Outreach. They are both doing great work helping the underserved in Elgin, IL and surrounding area. We also provided meals to the Annex Men's Hotel - a men's homeless shelter in the city of Chicago. More information for all these organizations can be found here.
The Night Ministry is a Chicago-based organization whose mission is to provide human connection, housing support, and health care to members of our community who are unhoused or experiencing poverty.
Here are some pictures from the event.
