June 12- Partnered with Emmaus House of Hospitality in Lake Zurich to receive excess (food) items for donation
June 8- SBF Junior Board gave a presentation about SBF’s mission and how to team with the club for future opportunities
June 3 - SBF participated in volunteer fair at Ela Public Library in Lake Zurich where we networked and talked about SBF and explore partnership opportunities. 
On June 1, 2026 SBF Junior Board participated at the Youth Fair organized by Rep. Syed at Ela Public Library
On Monday May 4th, SBF Junior Board had the opportunity to meet with IL State Representative Nabeela Syed during her monthly office hours at the Palatine Public Library and share the work that SBF Chicago has been doing to address food insecurity locally in Chicagoland area as well as globally.

"Because of your generosity, 150 bags were able to reach families and individuals who truly needed them. Half were distributed at the Lexington Hotel, where many individuals experiencing homelessness are currently staying, and the other half were shared along the river and throughout the park with many of our homeless friends in the community reside in." - Chancez NFP (May 21, 2026)

Food distributed to Annex Hotel for homeless
