SBF team dropping food items at Palatine High School

September 14, 2026 - SBF India provided 13,000+ meals to villages/slums in suburbs of New Delhi. Eight items will be packed in 101 meal kits for families. This will feed a family of 4 for ~15 days

August 30, 2026 - SBF Chicago hit a milestone. We have packed 10,200+ meals so far in Chicagoland and India

August 15, 2026 - We have been added to Ela Area Public Library (Lake Zurich) teen volunteering site!

June 12, 2026 - Partnered with Emmaus House of Hospitality in Lake Zurich to receive excess (food) items for donation

June 8, 2026 - SBF Junior Board gave a presentation about SBF’s mission and how to team with the club for future opportunities

June 3, 2026 - SBF participated in volunteer fair at Ela Public Library in Lake Zurich where we networked and talked about SBF and explore partnership opportunities. 

June 1, 2026 - SBF Junior Board participated at the Youth Fair organized by Rep. Syed at Ela Public Library

May 4, 2026 - SBF Junior Board had the opportunity to meet with IL State Representative Nabeela Syed during her monthly office hours at the Palatine Public Library and share the work that SBF Chicago has been doing to address food insecurity locally in Chicagoland area as well as globally.
