May 17 Chicago Food Packing Event
675+ sandwiches + 600+ brown bags
(help people who are facing homelessness, poverty, or crisis in Chicagoland area)
240+ bags with 6 different items - Palatine High School
(for ~50 students over a 4 weekend period)
Our Youth Leaders for this event were Drew Suthar and Arav Patel. Our biggest turnout till date with over 55+ people helping to pack 975+ meals! We could not have done this without your support.
Through our partnership with Food For Friends, we were able to distribute the meals we packed to Chancez NFP and House of Restoration Community Outreach. They are both doing great work helping the underserved in Elgin, IL and surrounding area. We also provided meals to the Annex Men's Hotel - a men's homeless shelter in the city of Chicago.
